YOU'RE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST WORKSHOP!
The workshop style of teaching photography is without question the best way to teach photographic subjects for most! This workshop will likely advance your learning process for photography and
lighting by years, not to mention save you lots of money by demonstrating for you why you do not have to be an equipment hog! Equipment is not the issue. It doesn’t matter if it is one
light or multiple lights. What matters is how you use them and how you use natural light. I promise, we won’t be showing you how to twist your tongue or reference the latest zen ideas.
This will be to the point and down & possibly dirty. It is very important before you take this workshop, you know how to use your camera on manual and you have at least a basic understanding of
the foundations of photography(shutter speeds, F-Stops, ISO’s, composition). This workshop is intended for those at an intermediate/advance level. Fear not! If I can do this, you can.
You just need a little help from a pro who cares.

BLOWING YOUR MIND
No I'm not going to give everyone hits of LSD. But I will be getting you naturally high on creative excitement! We will eat lunch together, my treat, during introductions. Throughout the rest of
the day and night we will go from one shoot, to another and another and another, finishing up around 10 P.M. At each shoot I will demonstrate incredible, yet simple ways to light portraits and subjects.
After these very informative demos, you will have a chance to shoot as well. In fact, everything I shoot, you will shoot. After each shoot, we will process through what just happened. All questions
will be answered and if you stump me, I will not B.S. you! That dog don’t hunt in my workshops. We will do it again on day two, only with cooler techniques. On the third day you learn to swim
and hopefully not doggy style. You will be paired up and given assignments most of the day and into the evening. At 9 P.M. I will gather the best of everyone’s assignments and critique them
essionally. There will be no smackdowns! The true power of this workshop is in the assignments and Critiques. We will end the workshop once all questions have been answered. Some other high points to
mention is what I will be sharing with you concerning the business side of this business. You will hear how I started with the cheapest camera Nikon made and built a healthy long lasting photography
business making six figures without banks, credit lines or credit cards. To this day, my business is debt free and needs no bailout from the government….not that one or two trillion
couldn’t help things a bit.
A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS
As much as kevo would like to think heeee knows everything about photography, we all know kevo does NOT!!! That is why you will hear from other pro photographers, magazine photo editors and/or ad
agency art directors as guest speakers. Because they all come from different perspectives, you will gain nuggets of gold from what they have to say.
THE CAMP HIGH
What happens after most workshops? You go home and look at your photos from your assignments and you begin to ponder all you have learned. Then, the phone rings or your kids gang attack you or you
have an A.D.D. moment and the ceiling fan reminds you of something else and before you know it days go by and the “Camp High” begins to fade. Pretty soon you remember only half of what
was taught. NOT ON MY WATCH! You will receive a few post workshop assignments to shoot for the next couple of months a deadline to email me back your best image so we can see how you have progressed
and how you need to be further advised. This instructor will not be satisfied to just take your money! Only fully completed assignments will quench my thirst! I know what it will take to prepare you for
the nasty world of photography, not to mention my next level photo workshops:-o

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Besides a true desire to learn, you will need one digital SLR, at least a 20mm wide angle or a wide angle zoom that was 20mm in its range, a fast 50mm (1.8 minimum), a telephoto or telephoto
zoom, at least two smart flashes (two pocket wizards if the flashes are not smart), two small portable stands with flash mounts, 1-2 million power flashlight and a tripod. You will also need to
bring your laptop with Photoshop loaded on the machine. If this is a problem don’t freakout and decide not to take the workshop or go out and buy a bunch of stuff you may not want to buy. Call
me and we will work something out.

TESTIMONIALS:
The Creative Location Lighting workshop (now called Masters of Light) was a lot of fun and very informative. More importantly, it gave me skills that I can instantly put to
use in future photo shoots. Kevin really knows how to teach his extensive knowledge of photography in a real world situation (not a classroom). He is passionate about his craft and really encourages those who want to pursue it. I highly recommend this or any workshop he teaches - you will learn a
lot and be motivated to excel in your work!
-Jim Lacy
Taking this class (Masters of Light) with Kevin was wonderful. I finally felt like someone was willing to remove the veil of secrecy from lighting and just show you how to do one thing and do it well in ...english. He never tried to make it seem like something only certain people could do. First he demonstrated the technique, and then we got some time to practice before we went out and found someone in the area to try the technique out on. Practical experience, and he was always there to help if we needed him.
Above all else though, he actually said that if we ever needed help with what we learned in the workshop we could just ask and he would help. No other instructor at a workshop has ever offered this, and I think it's because Kevin really loves photography, and he wants to share his knowledge and skills with others, and really help them.
I highly recommend taking a workshop with Kevin. You won't regret it. Take notes!
