Starting January 2010, the GATHERING OF PHOTOGRAPHERS will meet quarterly.

In Austin, we will meet the first Thursday, in Dallas, the second Tuesday, in Houston the second Thursday and in San Antonio the third Tuesday.

All meeting months will be January, April, July & October, with Christmas parties in December. We will also be arranging Group Shows to hang in

professional photography galleries with Best of Show prizes. Here is our goal, to bring a community of professional & serious amateur photographers

together. We will have a dinner together followed by either a guest speaker or 2 minute shows and sometimes both. Some of you are asking 2 minute

what? 2 Minute Shows are 10-15 images every photographer brings on a thumbdrive. When each photographers images come up, they introduce

themselves and talk about their passion as their work is projected. Those who would like a quick critique, ask and one or two of the pro's present

will professionally guide them. Afterward, most spend social time getting to know each other and some even receive some mentoring from a pro!
