SO, ARE YOU READY TO STEP UP & BE ALL YOU CAN BE…
AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?
Your friends and family are telling you how good a photographer you are and you finally did it! You joined the 21st century and got a digital camera. And man did you catch that photo virus going around…the NikonD4 virus or maybe the Canon1DMIV virus. You are even thinking about going pro. You’ve got the hat, the vest, the backpack and those sunglasses. Your camera is around your neck, and now you are feeling the pressure to pay for everything and live up to everyone’s expectation of your new investment. You need money! STOP! Let's just think about it for a second. Ask yourself this: Do you truly understand and know what it takes to successfully achieve your goals based on what you know right now? Perhaps you have decided to seek the help of a professional. That is why we have spent two years designing this workshop to help get you off in the right direction for becoming a successful pro photographer.
We have also designed this workshop to also be a mini vacation. While we fill your hearts and minds with great photographic knowledge, your spouses can spend the morning and afternoons shopping, golfing, sightseeing, etc. in each of the three historic towns we will be travelling to throughout this workshop. The evenings will be yours to spend with your spouse or shooting photos, your choice.
DEMO’S, ASSIGNMENTS & CRITIQUES
Led by both Former Texas Highways Magazine Photo Editor, Kevin Vandivier and Pulitzer Prize Winnig Photographer Skeeter Hagler. We high the best to teach you photography, because you are entrusting us to help develope your "MInds Eye". Bring your tennies with your cameras everyday! Come 9 a.m. we will hit the streets. Yes, this is a workshop, not a seminar. First they will demonstrate all the basic techniques you need to know. You will all talk about it and work through the issues together. Then you will be given assignments... to steal a page from Noah, you’ll be paired up in two’s and sent out on assignment to work together and help each other. Finally, you will be sent out
alone to complete your own assignment. When everyone returns, we will all look at your best image from each assignment and your photos will be critiqued in a very professional/encouraging way.
There will be NO “smackdowns” !
POST WORKSHOP ASSIGNMENTS
What happens after most workshops? You go home and look at your photos from your assignments and you begin to ponder all you have learned. Then, the phone rings or your kids gang attack you or you have
A.D.D. and the ceiling fan reminds you of something else and days go by and before you know it the “Camp High” begins to abate. Pretty soon you remember only half of what was taught.
NOT ON MY WATCH! You will receive a couple of post workshop assignments for the next couple of months via email with a deadline to email me back your best image so we can see how you have progressed and
how I can further advise you. I will not be satisfied to just take your money…only fully completed assignments will quench my thirst! I know what it will take to prepare you for the nasty world of
photography, not to mention my next level workshops:-o
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
